Refuge and Strength Outreach collaboration with Western Baptist State Convention of Ca member churches provide resources to seniors, individuals or families (residing in communities near WBSC churches) who are underserved or in need of assistance. 

 

SCHOOL SUPPLIES/GIFT CARDS:  Academic Achievement Program recognizes 7th -11th grade students’ success despite multiple types of traumatic experiences and fewer positive adult relationships.

​​RAS Outreach Values in Action: Youth Excellence Scholarship Education Access Program is designed to remove systemic barriers to postsecondary education by providing equitable financial support (cover fees for books and other education-related expenses) and coordinated academic resources to educationally disadvantaged students  impacted by poverty, housing instability, learning gaps, family disruption, and limited access to quality educational support.

 

TOYS & CHRISTMAS DINNER TRIMMINGS:  Low/no income families are invited to our Toy Distribution & Christmas Dinner Trimmings .

 

SENIORS/ FAMILY RESOURCES:  Fraud Workshops facilitated (reverse mortgage/Medicare schemes) by AARP, Department of Aging, and California Department of Public Health (Health & Wellness) Department of Mental Health (Mental Health), and homeless outreach.
